macOS 11 (Big Sur) – macOS 27 · Apple Silicon & Intel
The future-proof successor to the world-renowned DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU).
DJCU2 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to deliver the fastest, most accurate and most reliable way to convert playlists, crates and tracks between DJ platforms. It seamlessly transfers your music library along with essential DJ metadata, including cue points, loops, and static, dynamic or even fluid beatgrids.
Supported DJ software (two-way — source & destination)
- Rekordbox 6 & 7
- Serato DJ Pro 3 & 4
- Traktor Pro 3 & 4
- VirtualDJ
- Engine DJ 4.3+
- Algoriddim djay Pro 5+
- Apple Music (formerly iTunes)
Additional source formats
- "One Library" (Device Library Plus) USB drive
- Rekordbox XML file
What data is converted?
- Playlists (or crates)
- Common tags: artist, title, genre, artwork, play count, star ratings and more
- DJ-specific data: cues and loops with their names and colours
- Beatgrids and track colours
- Everything else the source and destination software have in common
What is not converted?
- Smart playlists or crates
- Tracks from streaming services (TIDAL, Spotify, Beatport Streaming)
- Beatgrids to djay Pro (its own analysis is already excellent)
- Related tracks
Worth mentioning: track order within playlists/crates, and the order of the playlists themselves, cannot always be preserved.
Beyond conversion
- (Fluid) beatgrid conversion — convert the fluid beatgrids created by djay Pro and VirtualDJ to other platforms, generally far more accurate than the target software's own analysis.
- Mixed In Key integration — import musical key and cue points from Mixed In Key into any supported software (requires a valid Mixed In Key licence on the machine).
- Shareable DJ library archives — package your entire library, audio included, into an open-standard archive another DJ can import, even on different software.
- Basic automatic file relocation — find and relink audio files that have moved.
Upgrade offer. Bought a DJCU or DeCU licence on or after 1 January 2025? Upgrade to DJCU2 for €20.00 — email the PayPal address used for your original purchase and you'll receive a payment link. Older licences remain valid on the macOS version they currently support.
macOS only. Requires an Apple Macintosh (MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, incl. M1/M2/M3/M4). Compatible from macOS 11 (Big Sur) up to macOS 27. An internet connection is required at startup. No refunds for use on Windows, Linux or iOS — an iPad/iPhone is not a macOS computer.
